Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including home care and medical-surgical environments. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of patients by utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge of physiology.

Duties
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
Assist with IV infusion therapy and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide care for patients with diverse needs, including those requiring ventilatory support or specialized medical-surgical care.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families about health management, medication administration, and home care practices.
Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems such as Cerner.
Support pediatric patients by applying experience working with children in a clinical setting.

Experience
Proven experience in home care or medical-surgical nursing is preferred.
Knowledge of physiology and the ability to apply this knowledge in practical situations is essential.
Familiarity with aseptic technique and IV infusion procedures is highly desirable.
Experience working with children is a plus, enhancing your ability to provide compassionate care tailored to younger patients.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality are required.
