Licensed Practical Nurse Seymour, TN - Primary Care Clinic - Half day Friday. Job Description We are looking for a dedicated LPN to assist our healthcare provider throughout the clinic. This role involves a variety of patient care duties, including lab draws, RX verification, appointment follow-up, and occasional scheduling. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient charts, coordinating appointments, and assisting with patient-related matters over the phone. Responsibilities Primarily responsible for lab draws for all patients Serve patients over the phone with RX verification and appointment follow-up Occasional scheduling tasks Prepare and maintain patient charts including insurance, registration, correspondence, laboratory and radiology reports Track and request patient records, slides, and films; document as necessary in the charts Schedule and coordinate appointments, scans, and tests; confirm appointments; notify appropriate departments of daily and weekly patient schedules Receive incoming calls to assist patients, physicians, and others with patient-related matters Relay diagnostic test results to patients per physician's discretion Conduct follow-up phone calls to patients with problems and 'no-shows' Perform BP, TPR, and weight measurements on each patient; alert physician of abnormalities Perform medical history on each patient prior to being seen by physician Maintain medical supplies in each exam room and office supplies in clerical areas Skills & Qualifications Tennessee LPN License Strong organizational skills Excellent communication abilities Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks Experience with patient scheduling and medical record maintenance Shift Monday - Thursday / 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday / 8:00am - 12:00pm About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
