About the Role:
NO WEEKENDS. WORK MONDAY-FRIDAY 2:30P-11PM .
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated LPN to join our team in the Assisted Living Main building on our campus. As working Floor Nurse on our Evening shift Monday-Friday 2:30p-11pm, you will be responsible for providing the highest quality of care to our residents and ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to follow residents written service care plans, administer all resident medications and minimal treatments for residents that are on a Med Plan. Your through nurse assessment skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a very fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the overall success and mission of our family and nurse owned and operated Senior Living Community and the well-being of our residents as our Hillside Terrace motto says it all: "where our family shares life with your family" We take full pride in providing the utmost care and respect in ensuring our residents live out their lives to their fullest abilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- WE WELCOME. STUDENT NURSES AND GRADUATE NURSES.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Thorough Assessment Skills
- English speaking, reading and writing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a healthcare, Senior Living facility
- Familiarity with electronic medical records/ QUICKMAR/PCC
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts prn to help the nurse team fill vacant shifts
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Complete Medication Passes within specified time frames
- Monitor and document resident vital signs and up to date medical status
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Follow resident service care plans in collaboration with healthcare team and ensure RCAS complete residents care as written
- Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families
Skills:
As an LPN, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide quality care to our residents. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be critical in administering medications and treatments, monitoring resident progress, and assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures. Familiarity with electronic medical records and the ability to work independently and as part of a team will also be important in this role.
