The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under supervision in healthcare or long-term care settings.
Administers medications, monitors vital signs, and assists with personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility. Follows care plans, documents patient information accurately, and reports changes in health. Collaborates with healthcare team members and communicates with residents and families to ensure quality care. Maintains infection control, safety protocols, and advocates for residents' needs and dignity. Requires completion of an accredited LPN program, active license, strong clinical skills, and compassionate patient care.
