Job Title: Loyalty Planner

Department: Marketing

FSLA: Exempt

General Function

The Loyalty Planner is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing customer loyalty program to drive customer retention, engagement, and brand advocacy. This role involves analyzing customer data, coordinating marketing campaigns, and ensuring seamless program operations to enhance customer experience and increase brand loyalty.

Accountable and Reports to: Director, Loyalty & Marketing Analytics

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Loyalty Program Strategy & Execution
  • Assist in designing and implementing customer loyalty programs that align with business objectives.
  • Develop promotional campaigns, rewards structures, and engagement strategies to enhance customer lifetime value.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and ops teams to ensure program alignment with overall brand strategy.
Data Analysis & Performance Tracking
  • Analyze customer behavior, purchase patterns, and program effectiveness using data analytics tools.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as customer retention rate, repeat purchases, and redemption rates.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize loyalty initiatives based on data-driven findings.
Campaign Management & Communication
  • Plan and execute loyalty marketing campaigns, including email, SMS, app notifications, and in-store promotions.
  • Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling content and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all loyalty program touchpoints.
Customer Engagement & Experience
  • Enhance customer interactions by developing personalized rewards and exclusive experiences.
  • Gather customer feedback and work with internal teams to improve program offerings.
  • Manage program-related inquiries and resolve customer issues effectively.
Operational & Budget Management
  • Oversee loyalty program logistics, including rewards fulfillment, partnerships, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage program budgets and ensure cost-effective implementation.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining program quality.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics
  • Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines
  • Experience in campaign design and management
  • Strong project management skills
Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience including experience in loyalty program management
  • Strong understanding of customer data analytics, and personalization strategies.
  • Experience with loyalty platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies
  • Experience managing and scaling marketing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in grocery retail is a plus

Physical Requirements
  • This position may require some traveling and overnight stays.
  • Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near range with or without correction
  • Must be physically able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects as well as perform sedentary work
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions

The duties of this position are performed in a general office setting. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks a day.
