Job Summary: Impact Fire Services (IFS) is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to expand our territory into northern Arizona, primarily in the Flagstaff area. This position will focus on selling Fire Alarm systems for commercial buildings, with additional offerings including Card Access, Surveillance, and Intrusion systems.
As the first member of our new sales division, you'll play a critical role in establishing and growing this market, reporting to our Prescott office. Once the territory gains traction, we aim to open a dedicated sub-office in Flagstaff to further support this role. With a goal to triple our size in the next three years, this position is the groundwork for growth and offers the opportunity to develop into a leadership role within the department.
Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Represent IFS at community events to build connections and generate leads.
- Independently manage time to create sales opportunities through cold calling, site visits, and networking functions.
- Follow up on leads generated by Inside Sales Representatives.
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas.
- Track sales trends to develop effective strategies for the new market.
- Input sales data and provide regular reports to upper management.
Qualifications: Minimum: - 3-5 years of commercial sales experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to design and implement a systematic sales approach.
- Experience creating bid proposals and delivering presentations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Integrity and accountability in all job functions.
- Willingness to learn new processes and applications.
Preferred: - Sales experience in fire alarm and/or fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with sales force automation technologies.
- Background in design or project management.
- Experience with project estimating and budgeting.
- Innovative mindset to drive business processes forward.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.
