Delta has been retained by a confidential electrical contractor to conduct a search for the position of Low Voltage Division Manager for an electrical contractor, specializing in fire alarm systems, in Charlotte, NC or Columbus, OH.


Low Voltage Division Manager Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Low Voltage Division Manager in Charlotte, NC or Columbus, OH is between $150,000 and $175,000 (negotiable for top talent).

Low Voltage Division Manager Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the division with a focus on commercial fire alarm systems.
  • Oversee fire alarm installations, testing, inspections, and code compliance.
  • Mentor and manage project teams, estimators, and field leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business.
  • Set division goals and execute strategic plans for growth and profitability.
  • Full P&L responsibility including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Review and negotiate contracts and scopes of work.
  • Stay up to date on fire/life safety codes, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Ensure execution of all projects aligns with company standards and safety protocols.
  • Identify and solve operational and project-related challenges proactively.

Low Voltage Division Manager Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in low voltage systems, with a strong background in fire alarm work.
  • Experience leading teams on large commercial or industrial fire alarm projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of NFPA codes, fire alarm control panels, and life safety systems.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • NICET, PMP, RCDD, or equivalent certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • CRM software experience.
