As a Lounge Concierge, you will be the face of our luxury cigar lounge, blending hospitality, expertise, and seamless service to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a warm and professional presence, the ability to curate personalized experiences, and a commitment to upholding the sophistication of our lounge.

You will guide guests through our world of fine cigars, premium spirits, and exclusive membership perks while maintaining an inviting and elegant atmosphere. From greeting guests and assisting with reservations to educating patrons on cigar and spirit pairings, you will play a key role in fostering an environment of luxury and distinction.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality:

• Greet guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive.

• Guide guests to their seats, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.

• Provide expert recommendations on cigars, spirits, and pairings tailored to guests' preferences.

• Maintain a refined and sophisticated atmosphere, ensuring lounge etiquette is upheld.

• Offer white-glove service, personalizing experiences for VIP members and regular guests.

• Anticipate guest needs, proactively addressing any requests for an effortless experience.

• Lead tours for prospective members, explaining membership tiers and benefits.

Cigar & Spirits Knowledge (Training Provided):

• Educate guests on flavor profiles, origins, and proper cigar-cutting & lighting techniques.

• Assist in selecting spirits and cocktails that complement cigar choices.

• Stay informed on cigar trends, rare finds, and exclusive offerings.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of cigars to maintain quality preservation.

Service & Operations:

• Handle table assignments, reservations, and VIP seating arrangements.

• Ensure all tables are set with proper glassware, tableware, and menus.

• Assist with cigar preparation, drink pairings, and table service.

• Maintain a pristine and well-stocked lounge at all times.

• Respond to guest inquiries, resolve seating concerns, and troubleshoot any phone inquiries.

Sales & Brand Representation:

• Encourage upselling through exclusive cigar selections, membership perks, and private events.

• Build strong relationships with guests to foster loyalty and repeat visits.

• Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the sophistication and expertise of The Embassy Cigar Lounge.

• Promote and assist with special events, tastings, and exclusive promotions.

Compliance & Lounge Etiquette:

• Enforce proper cigar etiquette, dress codes, and lounge policies with finesse.

• Ensure compliance with liquor laws, tobacco regulations, and responsible service practices.

• Maintain awareness of guest behaviors to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or high-end lounge service.

• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

• Ability to engage high-profile guests with professionalism and discretion.

• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-end environment.

• Cigar and spirits knowledge preferred (training provided).

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and multitask efficiently.
