Description Manages all aspects of the Long-Term Care Center including the daily operations, all patient care and business decisions, compliance with all regulations, budgeting, prepares various reports, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Plans and directs operations of the facility.
- Responsible for all aspects of care provided to residents and for the facility's environmental functioning.
- Oversees the hiring and training of employees.
- Oversees the activities of the medical, nursing, technical, clerical, support services, social service, activity, and volunteer staff.
- Maintain and develop standards, policies, programs, and operating procedures that comply with federal and state regulations as appropriate.
- Creates and administer budgets.
- Prepare official reports for the governing body and state and federal agencies as required.
- Attends various meetings including staff, families, the governing body, insurance companies, and Medicare and Medicaid administrators.
- Coordinates with clinical staff to ensure residents' individual care plans are being followed
- Ensures regular safety and compliance training as well as resident experience and a process for addressing concerns.
- Implements and oversees quality assurance programs to ensure resident safety.
- Oversee revenue cycle including billing
- Other duties as assigned, specific to the position.
Requirements- Bachelors of Science degree in healthcare administration, healthcare management, business administration or related field, required
- Masters of Health Administration (MHA) or a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) in healthcare management preferred
- 5 years previous Long-Term Care experience, required
- NHA Licensure, required
