About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Customer Service Clerk to join our team in City of Industry, CA. This role involves handling logistics and shipping inquiries, managing high call volumes, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take and enter orders into a database.
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls related to logistics and shipping.
- Provide detailed updates to customers regarding the status of their shipments.
- Prepare shipment documentation and track and trace shipments.
- Communicate with ocean carriers, truckers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and shipments.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a logistics or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the shipment process and inventory management.
- Familiarity with logistical information and systems.
