Key Responsibilities
Operations & Support
- Assist with daily freight tasks: quoting, booking, tracking, and updating shipments
- Communicate with carriers and customers via email and phone quickly and accurately
- Update our systems with accurate load and contact information (Turvo, Hubspot, etc.)
- Support the operations team in identifying and resolving any issues that come up
- Learn how to follow and improve our standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Build strong relationships with carriers and reps
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO and operations team to support priorities
- Help keep everything organized and on track, especially during busy periods
- Support operations and jump in where needed-we're a small team.
Growth & Learning
- Learn the ins and outs of the freight brokerage and logistics industry
- Get hands-on experience with logistics tools, communication best practices, and AI-based systems
- Take initiative to improve your work and develop new skills - we'll support your growth
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Self-starter with a team-first attitude
- Tech-savvy - you're comfortable learning systems and tools
- Detail-oriented and dependable - things can move fast in freight, and accuracy matters
- Previous admin, operations, customer service, or logistics experience is a plus, but not required
- Startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, and resilient
