Logistics Planning Engineer
12-month initial contract
Based in Solihull
27 per hour (Inside IR35), 40 hours per week
Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Solihull, who are seeking a Logistics Planning Engineer to join their team
Job Description
As Logistics Planning Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
- Support development of warehousing and logistics solutions
- Identifying process waste and proposing solutions
- Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Cost, Delivery
- Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate cross functionally
- Optimise end-to end processes & flow solutions
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Proven Logistics Engineer or planner
- Broad knowledge of logistic engineering solutions, processes, systems and equipment
- In-plant logistics processes, lineside delivery methods, storage media, kitting strategies, AGVs
- Supporting data management, requirements gathering, solution and layout designs
- Ability to create logistics warehouse and lineside layouts
