The Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) will support the Product Director, Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (PD TMDE) by providing lifecycle logistics expertise and programmatic services for Department of Defense (DoD) assets. This role ensures the acquisition, sustainment, and readiness of systems used to test, calibrate, and maintain U.S. Army aviation, ground, and missile systems. Responsibilities: Analyze, organize, plan, and administer provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for complex programs. Analyze complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, maintenance practices, and operational characteristics to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Develop and review logistics documents such as MIDs, IUID Plans, BOIPs, SOPs, and Sustainment Strategies. Product Support Management, Design Interface, Sustainment Engineering, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning & Management, Technical Data Management, Support Equipment Development & Sustainment, Training Support Lead the acquisition and sustainment of PD TMDE systems, acting as the SME for PD TMDE's Calibration Sets (CALSETS). Lead Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) efforts. Develop logistics plans to enhance the distribution of goods and supplies, identify and assess key logistics assets, and prioritize infrastructure needs. Develop policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies that achieve desired delivery times. Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems across several projects, acting as a resource for resolving unique or complex issues. Plan and execute logistics meetings, IPTs, and product support events. Support sustainment transitions, technical manual reviews, and modernization efforts. Provide Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) on program accomplishments, challenges, and projected actions. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the logistics field Experience managing a team of various disciplines Experience providing TMDE operations and maintenance services for DoD products - equivalent to a 94H Military Occupation Specialty (MOS). Extensive understanding of US Army Lifecycle Logistics Integrated Product Support requirements, policies, and procedures as outlined in Army Regulation (AR) 700-127 is required. General understanding of DoD and US Army operations, task organizations, and unit structures is required. Strong understanding of TMDE maintenance structure and sustainment operations. Full understanding of DoD and/or US Army Logistics processes to include Supply Chain Management, Maintenance/Repair, and Property Tracking/Accountability is required. Experience accessing, analyzing, and reporting to Government-owned, software applications (e.g., FEDLOG, Visio, DST, CQUIP and CMTool) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power Point is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Currently possess an Active SECRET Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications: 20 years of DoD Logistics experience,15 years experience of which is in TMDE operations and maintenance Knowledge of DoD Logistics Supply Codes, their meaning and function DoD and/or Military background is preferred, while US Army service is desired.
