Logistics Coordinator Overland Park, KS LHH is partnering with a client in the Transportation industry, who is seekingan Account Executive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: - Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their transportation needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Carrier Negotiation: Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to secure the best possible transportation options for clients.
- Load Coordination: Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process, maintaining clear communication with all parties involved.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to provide clients with the most up-to-date information and competitive rates.
- Documentation: Ensure all transportation documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a Transportation Broker or in a similar role within the logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
