Clayton Services is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join a thriving company in North Houston. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning shipments, monitoring their progress, and preparing any necessary documents and meeting regulatory requirements.

Pay Rate: $25.00-$35.00/hour

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage international logistics (air and ocean freight)
- Update schedule with current packing slips
- Request and book inbound container shipments
- Find ways to keep costs low by utilizing multiple freight companies
- Receive quotes from multiple companies to keep costs low as possible
- Verify container load plans before shipment
- Confirm what needs to be shipped
- Book outbound container loads
- Verify cost per container
- Complete invoices
- Keep the team updated on the delivery status
- Verify pickup numbers for inbound shipments
- Maintain and update spreadsheets and paperwork
- Organize air and ocean freight
- Other duties as assigned

Logistics Coordinator Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics experience coordinating international freight (ocean) and imports is required.
