The Logistics Coordinator would be working for a major Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential.
Logistics Coordinator Highlights:
- Schedule: 1st Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Hybrid - 2 days onsite; flexible)
- Pay Range: $32.00 - $33.00 hourly
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
- Coordinate domestic logistics and import/export operations in the U.S.
- Manage inventory logistics and international shipping processes.
- Liaise between production sites, global affiliates, and logistics partners.
Import Coordination:
- Oversee transportation of imported products to final destinations in North America.
- Collaborate with customs brokers and monitor carrier delivery performance.
- Track shipments using digital platforms and manage ETA communications.
- Audit customs entries and manage corrections with government authorities.
Export Coordination:
- Fulfill export orders from multiple production sites to affiliates/customers in LATAM, APAC, EU, China, and North America.
- Serve as the primary contact for international logistics coordination.
- Ensure compliance with export documentation and shipping schedules.
- Update SAP with GI dates and prepare open order reports.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with urgent SAP changes for packaging/shipping.
- Support customer service teams and regional AMCs with order management.
- Conduct research and resolve logistics-related complaints and claims.
- Coordinate with insurance for damage claims and reimbursements.
- Support regulatory teams with customs, FDA, and audit documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (DICI program).
- Ensure timely processing of invoices with brokers and carriers.
- Maintain full compliance with safety, health, environmental (SHE), and quality standards.
Logistics Coordinator Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related Logistics field (required).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in import/export logistics within a global matrix organization.
- Experience with warehousing, transportation, and hazardous materials.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP R/3.
- Knowledge of GMP and cGMP practices.
- Project management experience and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience handling regulatory compliance and audits.
