Job Summary: LHH is collaborating with a prominent manufacturing company in Alpharetta, GA, to find a meticulous and organized Logistics Coordinator for a contract position. The Logistics Coordinator will be tasked with overseeing and maintaining various databases, as well as providing regular updates to internal teams about the status of product shipments. This role will primarily involve email communication with internal teams. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate movement of shipments.
  • Address customer inquiries and direct clients to the appropriate channels.
  • Verify purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
  • Arrange special shipping accommodations as needed.
  • Identify and correct shipping errors.
  • Maintain and update internal databases and spreadsheets regarding shipment movements and inventory.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a logistics support role.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
