Logistics / Customer Service Rep - Reports shipments, receipts, blends, and inventory to customers per customer-specific work instructions
- Coordinates and assigns to carriers loading and/or unloading times within the established guidelines
- Distributes completed Bills of Lading per customer-specific work instructions
- Maintains accurate and complete records of shipments, receipts, and inventory via Harvest Inventory System
- Prepares and submits reports to the Customer Service Manager as needed
- Cross-training on other accounts and able to fill in for other Customer Service Representatives during vacations or sickness
- Answers customer inquiries and gives solutions to problems, if needed
- Obtains Monthly Forecasts from assigned customers as required in Customer Specific Procedures
- Assists in the laboratory with retrieval of chemical samples, testing of samples, and recording findings into LIMS Software.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equilivant
- TWIC
- SAP
- Must be able to work long hours if required
- Ability to work in a fast pace, demanding office environment which requires good multitasking skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office software
- Good communication skills
