We are a rapidly growing family-owned business that provides premium temporary surface protection in the US to the construction industry. We are looking for a Logistics / Sales Clerk to work in our Head Office and Distribution Center in Northwest Dallas.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Locate and negotiate reliable cost-effective freight services for domestic and international shipments.

Prepare required shipping documents

Verify product quantities and that pricing matches purchase orders and invoices

Always maintain a good flow of communication among co-workers

Answering customer inquiries

Assisting and supporting outside sales representatives

Order entry, Order processing, and invoicing

Providing quotes for new customers and upcoming projects/jobs

General office tasks (filing, organizing, etc.)

Administrative Support for various departments on an as-needed basis

Requirements:

1-2 years Shipping/Logistics experience (FTL, LTL, FCL, LCL, small packages, etc.)

Customer Service experience (or equivalent)

Excellent communication, English language comprehension, and attention to detail

Basic understanding of US and North American map/geography a must

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Positive Attitude

Punctual and reliable, available to work M-F 8:00-4:30 pm, on-premise

People oriented, confident on the phone and in person

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately is a must

Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Preferred Experience:

Construction, Flooring industry or a distribution background

Salesforce / GoldFinch

Bi-lingual (Spanish)
