Schedule: Hybrid, 1st shift
8:30am - 5:00pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office; Monday and Friday work from home)
Pay: $18/hr.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with carriers and warehouse teams
- Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers
- Maintain and organize records, invoices, and inventory reports
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Support the logistics team with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience in a logistics clerk or similar role in a 3PL, shipping line or freight forwarding operational environment.
- Basic knowledge of shipping processes, inventory management, or warehouse operations. Experience working with Ocean Export a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
