Overview of the Logistics Clerk role:

• Ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time

• Schedule and coordinate shipments with logistics providers

• Communicate delivery status to customer service representatives

• Calculate and price shipping and insurance costs

• Notify service operations staff of inventory needs and pickup schedules

• Prepare and verify shipping documents, labels, bills of lading, and purchase orders

• Group shipments strategically to optimize cost efficiency

• Track shipments and submit updates to customer service reps daily

• Support various administrative and clerical duties as needed

• Collaborate with management regarding daily operations and inventory requirements

Preferred Qualifications for the Logistics Clerk role:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

• Intermediate computer and clerical skills

• Excellent attendance and a strong, service-oriented attitude

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Salary: $37,540.00 to $41,620.00 depending on experience
