Our client, a technological leader in multilayer polymer film (MLP) capacitors, is seeking a Logistics Clerk to join their team. As a Logistics Clerk, you will be part of the operations team supporting the efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Clerk

Location: Lynchburg, VA

Pay Range: $18 per hour

What's the Job?
  • Prepare and process customer orders according to the shipping schedule, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Ensure Packing Slip aligns with shipment and ERP, generate shipping labels, part labels, and required documentation.
  • Utilize ERP systems and warehouse technology to efficiently locate, process, and ship products.
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments from vendors to ensure accuracy and quality. Organize documentation, including shipping records, statements of origin, and compliance paperwork.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of all raw and finished goods, optimizing storage for accessibility and efficiency.
  • Additional responsibilities as required including production operations.
What's Needed?
  • High school degree or GED required.
  • At least 12 to 18 months of logistics experience.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, or any logistics management software, familiarity with customer portals and logistics vendors (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Able to lift, push, and pull items 50 pounds and use a hand truck.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization, possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset and personality with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
