Purpose of Job:

As a Logistics Clerk at Fenix Group, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting our logistics and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for various administrative and clerical tasks that ensure the smooth flow of goods, accurate record-keeping, and timely communication with internal teams and external partners.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:
  1. Order Processing: Receive and process incoming orders and shipment requests from customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures. Work closely with Production to ensure parts availability from inventory on hand.
  2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock movements, conducting periodic counts, and assisting in replenishment orders. Assist with disposal of obsolete equipment. Assist Asset Manager with coordination of Bailment equipment; shipping and receiving.
  3. Documentation: Prepare and review shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Scan and copy documentation for upload onto system.
  4. Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, and external carriers to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any logistics-related issues.
  5. Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, addressing order status inquiries, and resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally. Provide shipping estimates to Capture Manager.
  6. Data Entry: Accurately enter and update logistics data into the company's database or inventory management system, maintaining up-to-date and organized records.
  7. Reporting: Generate reports on logistics activities, such as order status, inventory levels, and delivery performance, to assist in decision-making processes.
  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, transportation, and environmental standards.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or logistics-related certification is a plus.

Licenses/Certificates:

N/A

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics or supply chain industry is preferred.

Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with logistics and shipping regulations (domestic and international) is a plus.
  • Must have your own means of transportation (local deliveries/Drop-off/Pick-ups).
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn beyond job requirements.

Physical Demands:
  • May require participation in field trials that would go beyond normal office environment demands.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Other Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Work Authorization / Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret level clearance.
  • Travel is primarily locally during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.
