What is the primary mission of this role
What are the main functions of this role

• The ideal candidate will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant shipment of parts, components, subcomponents, and related materials.
• Generate and prepare shipping documentation in compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards, ensuring all required forms, labels, and certifications are accurately completed and submitted.
• This includes adhering to military packaging, labeling, and shipping requirements, as well as ensuring the correct classification, hazardous material documentation, and compliance with Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) and applicable DoD regulations for each shipment.

Skills Required:

• Understanding of logistics processes, warehouse management, and shipping procedures.
• Ability to follow Client' safety guidelines, and warehouse management system experience (SAP preferred).
• Desired Skill Sets: Excellent verbal and written communication, Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment where multi-tasking is required.
• Familiarity with proper packaging methods in line with industry specifications. Previous Hazmat training or certification is a plus.
• Years of Experience Required (if any): 5 years of experience in warehouse shipping and receiving, preferably in defense, aerospace, or manufacturing environments.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is highly desirable.

Education Level Required:

• High School Diploma required; associate degree Preferred.

Pay Rate: $20 - $ 25.00/hr per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
