Description
Process carrier invoices
Reconcile invoice discrepancies
Cross-check costs and margins
Pursue freight shortages
Create load tenders for pick-ups
Follow up on accepted tenders
Field carrier calls and inquiries
Follow up on load status
Provide support with backhauls/coverage, as needed
Profile
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be detail oriented with good follow up skills.
Must have a strong background in math.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to multi-task and handle a busy workload in order to meet strong deadlines.
Customer service mindset/background
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to work independently and within the framework of a team.
