POSITION: Logistics Analyst IV
LOCATION: San Diego, California (NIWC PAC)

COMP RANGE: $130k to $150k DOE with full benefit package
SSC: Active Secret Security Clearance (required) JOB FUNCTION: Logistic Analysts integrate the spectrum of logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments. Logistic Analysts are also called Logisticians, and they are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. The Logistician prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped. It is the Logistician's duty to develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment. QUALIFICATIONS for the Logistics Analyst IV - Bachelors Degree and 10 years of experience - DAWIA Certification III, Life Cycle Logistics and Masters Degree Preferred JOB DESCRIPTION: Analyze and coordinate the ongoing logistical functions of a firm or organization
(Logistics Analyst IV Tasking)
• Support the logistics management of the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources
• Support the implementation and management of program changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved
• Excellent oral and written skills as well as critical thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to learn and apply logistics concepts to assigned duties
• Performs all functional duties identified above independently
• Experience with developing budgets and operating plans for programs and spend plans
• Specialized logistics experience with a Navy acquisition program or related/comparable Logistics experience with Department of Defense (DoD) agencies
• Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties identified above independently
• May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job COMPANY OVERVIEW DEL REY Systems & Technology, Inc.
