Responsibilities

  • Learning: Spend 26 weeks training with an experienced freight broker to understand the business
  • Sales: Make calls, build a client base, and close deals with customers
  • Negotiation: Work with customers and carriers to set prices and secure deals
  • Shipment Management: Ensure shipments are picked up and delivered on time, and handle any issues
  • Communication: Stay in touch with both the team and customers to keep everything on track

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or equivalent experience in Business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize assignments
