Overview LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (EO/IR 6): Bowhead seeks an experienced Logistics Management Specialist to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane Division (NSWC-Crane). The Logistics Management Specialist willProvide programmatic and Life Cycle Logistics support for current Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projectsmanaged by the Electro-Optic Technology Division (EOTD) including programmatic services, procurement documentation development, budget formulation, financial execution and tracking, andtechnical writing. Contractor shall provide project management support including, but not limited to, the following: coordination of project operations including management of records, schedules, andcorrespondence; analytical support; deliverables tracking; task management; and support the development of milestones and objectives for current projects. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: Provide Logistics, Configuration and Data Management support service including programmatic services, procurement documentation development, financial, logistics and meeting support Contractor shall provide programmatic support for current programs' objectives and acquisition strategies and be acquainted with Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, and Shop Workload Management Systems (SWMS) Tasking includes creating and maintaining detailed, well-organized reports for new procurements and tracking of fielded systems to internal and external customers and able to interact with field activities to provide information and status of material fielded and returned to NSWC Crane. The contractor shall provide management and acquisition support services to include pre-award and post-award support. The contractor shall provide DRAFT acquisition documents for major systems, subsystems, The contractor shall provide support in all areas of Integrated Logistics Support. The support includes, but not limited to, the following Logistics tasks: - Development or updates to Maintenance Plans. - Monitor/Manage/Execute Support Equipment Logistics and Rework Programs. - Develop and review technical manuals and operations and maintenance procedures. - Develop, maintain, and implement manpower requirements - Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) asset tracking and asset management. - Develop and review Depot plans and related documentation - Generate, implement and review Integrated Logistics Support Plans - Develop and implement Engineering Change Proposals (ECP). Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelors' Degree with five (5) to eight (8) years of experience. Experience supporting DoD Logistics, Acquisition and Program Support Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
