Scope of Work: The Lead Logistician will assist Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic with Logistics and Acquisition Support to for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) IA2 program. The Lead Logistician is expected to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment. This position analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources. The ideal candidate should be familiar with industry/military established principles and practices of logistics management. Essential Functions: The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with:
• Supporting provisioning efforts across multiple Program Of Record (POR) systems simultaneously.

• Conducting Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA) across multiple fielded intelligence systems and be able to determine the most cost-effective maintenance and support strategies.

• Drafting and reviewing life cycle logistics documentation (e.g. Life Cycle Sustainment Plan and Fielding Plan) in accordance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Navy (DoN), and United States Marine Corps (USMC) policies and guidelines

• Acquisition logistics support to a Marine Corps client.
• Tracking and maintaining Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) action items.
• Provide logistics input on program Integrated Product Team (IPT) briefs and various program documents.
• Coordinate to provide logistics information to various ILS products and update ILS documents, as required.
• Provide support to various ILS teams, products, and meetings.

• DoD acquisition processes and policies.

• Collaborating and coordinating with a cross-matrix organization to ensure contract deliverables are adequately reviewed from a total logistics support perspective Requirements/Experience:
• Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle Acquisition Logistics Level 1 or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training) OR possess an additional two (2) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.

• Fifteen (15) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 13 years if not DAWIA Level 1 certified) of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes to include LORA.

• Direct logistics support to an acquisition program management office in a DoD environment

• Analysis, preparation, and presentation of data to leadership

• Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Knowledge of DoD ILS tools

• Ability to facilitate meetings and briefings on behalf of the client

• Demonstrated skills, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.

• Experience with CMPro a plus
• Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance
