Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide clinic coverage for obstetrics and gynecology
- Conduct surgical cesarean and vaginal deliveries
- Manage births, with low-risk cases typically handled by midwives
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with other providers
- Provide a full range of emergency care to patients of all age ranges
- Ensure the application of medical provider procedures to clinical practices
- Offer individualized, goal-oriented care to pediatric and adult patients
- Address the holistic needs of Native American/Alaskan Native patients
- Recognize and manage complications through appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Administer and understand the effects and complications of various medications
- Stay informed about childhood immunizations, vaccines, and up-to-date patient education resources
Additional Information
- Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Experience with RPMS EMR system is essential
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
