About The Position

Internal Medicine Locums - Louisiana Physician, No Call

Outpatient Internal Medicine opportunity in Louisiana with weekday-only schedule and fast credentialing.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Fully outpatient - no inpatient duties required
• Team-based care with NP, RN, MA, and scribe support
• Serve an older, Medicare-aged population in a bilingual clinic

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM only
• Minimum 3-month commitment - extensions possible
• Predictable workweek with no weekends or nights

Cases and Procedures

• No procedures required
• Focus on diabetes, hypertension, CHF, CAD, and mild cognitive issues
• Primary care model with complex case management

Requirements

• MDs only - board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Louisiana license and DEA required
• 12+ months experience needed
• Spanish fluency highly preferred
