About The Position

Internal Medicine Locums - Louisiana Physician Assignment, No Call

Outpatient Internal Medicine assignment in Louisiana with fast credentialing and weekday-only schedule.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient-only clinic serving Medicare-aged patients
• Team includes NPs, RNs, MAs, and scribes
• Spanish-speaking environment - bilingual fluency preferred

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM
• Minimum 3-month assignment - potential to extend
• Weekday shifts only - no weekends or nights

Cases and Procedures

• No procedures required
• Focus on chronic disease management: diabetes, CHF, CAD, hypertension
• Includes complex care and mild cognitive conditions

Requirements

• Board-certified MD in Family or Internal Medicine
• Active Louisiana license and DEA
• 12+ months of experience
• Spanish fluency highly preferred

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
