South Carolina Multi-Site Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for a multi-site locum tenens opportunity in South Carolina. This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work across multiple emergency departments in well-established facilities.

  • Loris, SC
  • Myrtle Beach, SC
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:
  • Physician Coverage:
    • 7 AM - 7 PM
    • 7 PM - 7 AM
  • APC Coverage:
    • Little River: 1 PM - 1 AM
    • Loris: Adjusting to fluctuating volume needs
    • Myrtle Beach: No APC coverage
• Minimum Commitment: 15-20 shifts per month
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume:
    • Little River: 30,000
    • Loris: 29,000
    • Myrtle Beach: 11,000
  • ED Beds:
    • Little River: 23
    • Loris: 15
    • Myrtle Beach: 10
  • Trauma Designation: None
  • Admitting Orders: Standard bridge orders only
• EMR System: Cerner (all sites)
• Travel & Lodging: Provided
• Temp Privileges: Available for eligible providers

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 2-3 per hour at all locations

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• Licensure: Must Have Active & Unrestricted South Carolina License
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS
