Practice Setting
- Join a Level 3 Trauma Center
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
- Average volume of 40-50 patients per 24-hour shift
Schedule
- Ongoing availability for 12-hour shifts
- Shift times are 6a-6p, 10a-10p, and 6p-6a
- Flexibility to choose your shift schedule
Procedures and Cases
- All EM procedures, including lines, airways, chest tubes, etc.
- Variety of cases due to Level 3 trauma center
- Patient panel consists of all ages
Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- ACLS, BLS, DEA required
- Louisiana state licensure
Credentialing Requirements
- Clean background preferred for rush credentialing
