This 12-day assignment starts on 06/02/2025, and involves 12-hour shifts covering days, nights, and swing shifts, with a priority on night shift availability. The physician will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care, performing life-saving procedures including intubation, ventilator management, and line placements. This role also requires the ability to manage a diverse range of cases in a busy emergency department. Job Details: Location: Illinois Facility Type: Hospital Start Date: 06/02/2025 LOA: 12 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a, 10a-10p), including days, nights, and swing shifts Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages and acuity levels
• Perform life-saving procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, and line placements
• Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with other physicians, APPs, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Manage patients in trauma bays, private bays, rapid care rooms, and psychiatric unit as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic system
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Illinois
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency department
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage diverse emergency cases
• Flexibility to work various shifts, with priority given to night shift availability
