Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, and clinic settings
• Manage 24-hour call shifts, including emergency obstetrical and gynecological cases
• Perform general OB/GYN procedures and surgeries
• Conduct prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum care
• Handle high-risk pregnancies and obstetrical emergencies
• Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions
• Perform routine gynecological exams and screenings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using the Epic system
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Provide patient education on women's health issues and treatment options
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Additional Information:
• Must be board-certified/board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Utah medical license required
• Experience in a trauma setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work 24-hour call shifts and commit to a minimum of 7 shifts per month
