Pay Information
$2,700 to $3,200 per day

About The Position

Details:

• 21 shifts per month total between all locum providers.
• Facility Location: 3336 S 4155 W Ste 301, West Valley UT 84120
• Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient, Call, Emergency Room, Clinic Trauma Level III
• FTE: 2.0
• Required Procedures/Job Duties: General OB/GYN procedures & job duties.
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: RN
• Reason for Coverage: 2 locum providers who require a 6 month break.

• Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:
  
  • Census/patient population: Adult, Adolescent, Geriatric
  • What is the anticipated Patient Volume per shift? Call volumes - 2-3 patient calls per month for every 7 days of call.
  • What does call look like if covering call at 2 locations? Is there a backup physician that will take call if the primary physician is onsite at the other location? GYN emergencies only at SL, very few. 1 every couple of months. Family med takes most things there. SL does not have a month/baby unit.
  • Does the OBGYN team have a 24/7 anesthesia service team? Anesthesia is not in house, they are on call 24/7
  • Does the OBGYN team share anesthesia support with other specialties? Yes
  • Can you share if the OBGYN providers for call coverage have any other support staff outside of the MA? MAs do not work at the hospital. They have RNs as support staff

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• 24-hour call (7a-7a)

• Call Coverage: Need 1 week per month of the 2 presented options below.

  • Nov 17 (7a) - 24 (7a)
  • Nov 24 (7a) - Dec 1 (7a)
  • Dec 8 (7a) - 15 (7a)
  • Dec 22 (7a) - 29 (7a)
  • ongoing needs will begin Jan 2026

Job Requirements

• Board Certification OB/GYN - Required or Truly BE (0-5 years of residency completion)
• Active UT License - Highly Preferred
• Active BLS or PALS, & Controlled substance (CSR) - Required
• Active DEA - Required for credentialing
• Clean Malpractice/background - Required
