LocumJobsOnline is working with Alumni Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Nurse Practitioner MD in Portland, Oregon, 97213 About The Position Specialty State OR Location 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR 97213 Requirements UPDATED 03/28/25 - Neonatology NP or Physician Assistants who have completed a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program will be considered UPDATE 4.17: URGENT NEED: We are needing still 6-7 providers for this need to an extreme staffing shortage. The trauma level is now going to be a level 1 or level 2 scope instead of a level 3 scope. We need to fill around 50-55 shifts more per month. UPDATE 3.21- We are still needing providers here and will look at providers that need to obtain their OR license. We are in the process of seeing if the medical board can fast track licensing. I'm pushing for updates on the bids that were submitted without a license. Please update your provider's bid status if no longer available. If available, please let us know if they are in process of getting a license and the timeline for completion. Coverage will be at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center but the providers will be working at Providence Portland Medical Center as well. PSVMC has the more smaller and sicker patients so is a little bit more intensive than PPMC. They would prefer local candidates as they do prefer to plug in candidates where they can as it is sometimes hard for them to work to give locums multiple days in a row. Preference is to post schedule and see what providers can pick up. If they do end up with a candidate that is traveling they will try to give more shifts in a row to help with travel costs. All of this is in hospital work 12 or 24 hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-7am). PPMC is usually a 24hr shift as it is less intensive but either one will be ok to pick up. Neonatal physicians are contracted so they don't work for them but partner with them. NNP has patients on their service but are a lot of unit-based support, attend deliveries and do all procedures. Physicians do the daily check ins with patients. There is an office at both site for them to use after hours and during the day.
