Our client, a clinic in Ohio, is seeking a Board Certified Hematology Oncologist for a 50-day locum tenens position starting July 1, 2025. The ideal candidate, will provide coverage Wed-Fri: 8am-5pm, seeing 15-20 adult patients daily with a 50/50 mix of Hematology and Oncology cases. Responsibilities include leading the Infusion center, creating treatment plans, writing chemotherapy orders, and participating in call coverage 2-3 nights per week and 1-2 weekends per month, including the 4th of July weekend. What You'll Do:
- See an average of 15-20 adult patients per day, focusing on a 50/50 mix of Hematology and Oncology cases.
- Lead the Infusion center, creating and maintaining treatment plans for oncology patients, including writing chemotherapy orders. Although chemotherapy administration is handled by on-site nurses, you will be the go-to for any queries and urgent patient needs.
Who You Are:
- A Board Certified professional in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
- Licensed to practice in Ohio.
- Experienced with the Epic EMR system, enhancing your ability to integrate smoothly into our client's operation.
