LocumJobsOnline is working with to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Monroe, Louisiana, 71201 About The Position A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. Monroe is the largest city in northeast Louisiana and is the home to the University of Louisiana at Monroe. There you will also find The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens features the family home built by Joe Biedenharn, the first bottler of Coca-Cola, Chennault Aviation and Military Museum of Louisiana, and the Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge. This position offers 12-hour shifts in a facility with 36 ED beds and an annual volume of 58,000. There are 20-25 shifts available per month, with MD shift options of 7 AM-7 PM, 7 PM-7 AM, and 9 AM-9 PM, plus 40 hours of APC coverage daily. Candidates must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. The facility uses Epic EMR, and both day and night shifts are available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided.
