About The Position We are seeking a skilled Neurologist for a locum tenens position in Florida. This 52-day assignment starts on 04/07/2025, with a flexible schedule to complete approximately 20 chart reviews per month, estimated at 3-10 reviews per week, each taking about 15 minutes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with concussion/mTBI evaluation, cognitive function assessment, and neurological testing. The role involves interpreting EEG, ERP, and evoked potential data, reviewing cognitive performance scores, and providing treatment recommendations for traumatic brain injury (TBI) cases. This position offers an opportunity to work remotely, providing expert neurological consultations and assessments.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct thorough reviews of patient charts and neurological test results
• Evaluate concussion and mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) cases
• Assess cognitive function and interpret neurological testing data
• Analyze EEG recordings and Event-Related Potential (ERP) data
• Interpret Auditory and Visual Evoked Potentials test results
• Review cognitive performance scores and identify trends
• Determine the necessity for treatment based on diagnostic findings
• Provide specific treatment recommendations when appropriate
• Sign and date all assessments and recommendations
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all case reviews
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology and TBI treatment
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines
• Complete assigned reviews within the flexible monthly schedule
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Arizona (despite job location in Florida)
• Board certification in Neurology required
• Experience with TBI and cognitive function assessment preferred
• Familiarity with EEG, ERP, and evoked potential interpretation
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent written communication for providing clear assessments and recommendations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable with remote work and digital health platforms
• Experience with Ambula software is beneficial
• Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial 52 days
