LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Hawaii About The Position Barton Associates is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Hawaii. This 35-day assignment begins on 05/01/2025, with a flexible schedule including clinic hours from 8 AM to 5 PM and a rotating call schedule. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with routine clinic cases such as birth control, follow-ups, and OB visits, as well as managing deliveries and performing C-sections. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred, and an active Hawaii medical license is required. This position also offers the possibility of extension. Job Details: Location: Hawaii Facility Type: Hospital Start Date: 05/01/2025 LOA: 35 days Provider Type Needed: OB/GYN Physician Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM clinic shifts, with some rotating call coverage Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide routine OB/GYN care in clinic settings
• Manage birth control consultations and follow-ups
• Conduct prenatal and postnatal visits
• Perform deliveries and C-sections as needed
• Participate in 1-in-3 call rotation
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure high-quality patient care and follow-up
• Adhere to hospital protocols and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in any required departmental meetings or training sessions Additional Information:
