This opportunity offers both day and night shifts, flexible scheduling, and strong specialty support in a collaborative hospitalist program. Opportunity Details: Location: Dyersburg, TN Facility: Community-Based Hospital Contract Type: Locum Tenens - Hospitalist Physician Start Date: July 1, 2025 Schedule: Flexible (7 shifts/month) Shift Hours: Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM EMR System: Epic Facility & Program Overview: Hospital Beds: 225 Med/Surg ICU Beds: 14 (Open ICU) Daily Census: 47 patients total Average per Hospitalist: 11-15 Admits/Day: 10 total Team Coverage Model: Day: 3 Physicians 1 APP Night: 1 Physician Procedures: Central Lines & Intubations (will be proctored if needed) Codes: Yes - physicians are required to respond Subspecialty & Service Line Support: Emergency Medicine GI/Endoscopy Neurology Orthopedics Pediatrics Physical/Speech Therapy & Rehabilitation Telemedicine Urology Women's Health & OB Services Wound Care Diagnostic Imaging & Laboratory Services Provider Requirements: Board Certification: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine (ABIM, ABFM, ABEM) Licensure: Active Tennessee Medical License preferred (or IMLC eligible) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS - all AHA Required Experience: Prior inpatient hospitalist experience preferred Support & Perks: Competitive Weekly Pay Full Travel & Lodging Provided AAA Malpractice Coverage Dedicated Credentialing Assistance This locum tenens opportunity is perfect for experienced Hospitalists looking for a well-balanced work environment with a strong clinical team in place.
