• Specialty Backup Available: General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Nephrology

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE:

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 days
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• Day MD/DO: Central line, Intubation, Arterial line

• Night MD/DO: N/A

• Day NP/PA: No procedures required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active MI license

• Board: Board Eligible/Board Certified

• DEA: Active DEA Certification (transferable)

• Experience: Prior hospitalist experience preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage and cross-credentialing at 3 facilities

• Manage adult inpatient population and perform required procedures as needed based on shift (Day or Night)

• Respond to code and rapid response situations (HM responsibility)

• Coordinate care with available sub-specialty support

• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation

• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and credentialing requirements
