Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Anesthesiologists (MD/DO) for a high-impact cross-credentialed locum tenens opportunity across two premier medical centers in Saginaw, Michigan. Work alongside a robust, 24/7 CRNA team in a 100% supervision model at two dynamic hospitals offering Level II Trauma coverage and diverse case exposure.

This is a call-required role for anesthesiologists who thrive in complex, multidisciplinary environments and are looking to step into a system built for provider support and clinical excellence.

Assignment Overview

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens - Anesthesiologist (MD/DO)

• Credentialing: Cross-Credentialed Across Two Campuses in Saginaw

• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing

• Supervision Model: 100% Supervision - Including On-Call

• CRNA Coverage: In-House 24/7 - Always Paired with a CRNA

• Trauma Level: Level II at both campuses

• Call Required: Yes (see site-specific breakdown below)

Case Types by Facility:

Campus :

• Adult Hearts (220-230 cases/year; no pediatric hearts)

• Ortho, Vascular, GI, Neuro, Heads

• Trauma (L2)

• No OB coverage

Campus :

• OB (3200 deliveries/year; No VBACs)

• Pediatrics & Neonates

• Urology, Plastics, General Surgery

• Trauma (L2)

Call Schedule

Campus :

• Beeper Call: 1:4

• 30-minute response radius

• First out post-call

Campus :

• In-House Call: 1:5

• Becomes 1:4 during physician PTO coverage

• Post-call day off

• Weekend Call Rotation:

  • 2 weekends/month

  • One includes Saturday only

  • One includes Friday and Sunday

• CRNA paired with physician on all calls

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology (MD/DO)

• Active Michigan Medical License & Unrestricted DEA

• Fellowship in Cardiac or OB a plus (not required)

• Comfortable with high-volume, high-acuity supervision

• Must be within or willing to stay within 30-minute call radius
