This is a dynamic hospital-based role with a wide case mix, robust OB volume, and collaborative CRNA/MD model. Candidates must be comfortable with OB, solo cases, and weekday/weekend call coverage. With a diverse caseload and a collegial anesthesia care team, this assignment offers both variety and autonomy in a fast-paced but supportive environment. Opportunity Specifics: Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Location: Racine, WI Facility: 292-bed hospital Staffing Model: 7 MDs 11 CRNAs Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Schedule: Full-time with weekday night and weekend call required EMR: Epic Case Mix Includes: Bread & Butter OB (1,600 deliveries/year) 70% Epidurals 25% C-sections (includes VBACs) General Surgery ENT, Ophthalmology GYN Ortho, including robotic Craniotomies Cardiac (approx. 100 bypass cases/year, 99% on-pump) TEE utilized NO hearts Lots of regional anesthesia Responsibilities: Collaborate with CRNAs in a care team model Perform regional blocks (femoral, interscalene, etc.) Cover OB cases independently Participate in rotating in-house and back-up call Potential to float to nearby surgery center Candidate Requirements: Board-Certified Anesthesiologist Active Wisconsin Medical License Proficient in OB and regional anesthesia Comfortable with high-acuity and solo cases TEE credentialing preferred BLS & ACLS required Don't miss this opportunity to join a high-functioning team in a thriving surgical environment.
