Locum Physician

Job Title: Physician Profession: MD Specialty: Internal Medicine - Cardiology Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Board Certified Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Fellowship in Internal Medicine - Cardiology Description: We are looking for a provider to cover three weeks each month. The schedule includes two weeks seeing patients in the outpatient clinic. One week will be dedicated to taking general call inpatient. Inpatient call coverage primarily involves assigned patients. You will work closely with hospitalists for cardiac consulting. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM or with four 10-hour shifts. Patient encounters per shift will be between 18 to 20. The facility has 13 beds in the department. The expected certification requirements include ACLS and BLS. Experience in outpatient and inpatient cardiology is required. Skills in non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology are required. STEMI management is not required. Invasive cardiology procedures are not required.
