Locum Physician

LocumJobsOnline is working with OneStaff Locums to find a qualified Cardiology MD in Lincoln, Nebraska, 68501 Pay Information $325 to $375 per hour About The Position Interventional Cardiologist needed for June start. IMLC or NE license. Hospital rounding, STEMI call and procedures (Heart caths and TEE) Setting: Hospital FTE: PRN Duties: Responsibilities would be rounding at main hospital during the week and rounding at surrounding hospitals on the weekend. Occasional clinic if needed. Night call would be Monday and Tuesday nights off night call on Wednesday and Thursday nights and then night call Friday, Saturday and Sunday. An APP will assist with rounds and admits at the hospital. Occasional nigh APP help is available. Required Procedures: Heart catheterizations with stenting, TEEs EMR: EPIC Support Staff: APP on both night and day coverage (occasional nights with no APP help) Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility: Case volumes per day or patients per day? Would be responsible for same day add ons (mainly inpatients) Average number would be 3 Facility Size-65 bed What is the shift structure/Job description? Monday thru Friday inpatient Rounds at main hospital - Average Census 15-20 APP and Hospitalist assistance Perform add on cath procedures, mainly inpatients, with an average of 3/day Saturday and Sunday inpatient Rounds at surrounding Average Census main 15-20 Average Census surrounding12 APP and Hospitalist Assistance Schedule May 22 7am (or May 23 7am) through 7am on May 27 Ongoing dates Call Responsibilities STEMI call 7 days and 5 nights out of the week Monday thru Thursday 5p-7a General Cardiology call with the APP taking 1st call Saturday and Sunday General Cardiology call with APP taking 1st call and STEMI Call EXPPLAT Job Requirements
