Locum Physician

Position: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Shifts Available: June 4-7 (3 shifts) and June 14-20 (flexible 12-hour or 24-hour shifts) We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage in our Emergency Department. Position Details: Patient Volume: The ED sees approximately 6,000-7,000 patients per year, including Fast Track cases. The locum can expect to see 10-25 patients per 24-hour shift. Support Staff: Full-time PA staff (Monday - Thursday) Day shift: Two nurses (8 AM - 8 PM), plus an additional third nurse from 10 AM - 10 PM EMS personnel also serve as ED techs Case and Procedure Types: Typical emergency medicine cases, including chest pain, strokes, trauma, and other standard emergency presentations. EMR System: Cerner Housing: PVHC provides on-site apartments for locum providers.
