Description of required duties: Inpatient: See Job Description Position Description: LVPG Neurosurgery Requirements: Board Certification in Neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Duties Include: 1. Full-time clinical practice as assigned. 2. Non-clinical duties as assigned by the Chair and/or the Division Chief and can include meetings grand rounds committee task force and special project participation. Responsibilities: 1. Abide by departmental LVPG and LVHN rules regulations and policies. 2. Physician will be responsible to the Chair and the Division Chief for administrative and clinical matters of the medical practice subject to the bylaws rules and regulations and policies of LVPG and the Medical Staff of the Hospital. 3. Other duties including but not limited to research and education as assigned by the Chair and/or the Chief of Neurosurgery. 4. Supervise and educate medical trainees or other learners which may include medical students advanced practice clinicians and residents/fellows and complete any associated administrative tasks as assigned by the Chair or their designee. The responsibilities of neurosurgery physicians are subject to change based on the needs of the practice and department. Outpatient: TBD 2. Procedures required: Please see attached Delineation of Neurological Surgery Privileges 3. Supporting staff: Staff to be supplied by LVH Neurosurgery 4. Schedule: Variable based on call schedule 5. Hours: Variable based on call schedule 6. Call schedule: 24/7 Cedar Crest 1 in 5 rotation 24/7 Muhlenberg 1 in 3 rotation 7. Volume: Cedar Crest Level 1 Trauma Center Muhlenberg Level 2 Trauma also Comprehensive Stroke Center at Cedar Crest 8. Location: Muhlenberg and Cedar Crest 9.
